What cannot be demonstrated can be explained with a model
Some projects cannot be brought into a meeting: an industrial plant, an energy distribution network, a prototype still in development or a concept that exists only on paper. A model puts it on the table and makes it understandable in seconds, without the need for technical documentation.
At a trade fair or event, the model also acts as a focal point: it attracts attention from a distance, stops visitors and starts the commercial conversation before anyone has to explain anything. It is the starting point for a visit to the stand, not a decorative feature.
And when the project is technical, the model gives structure to the presentation: it allows you to point things out, compare stages, follow a route and answer specific questions with the object itself in front of you. The same message for the entire sales team, regardless of who is presenting.

What we are often asked before a conceptual model is commissioned.
Can you make a model if I do not have any plans?
Yes. If the model is conceptual or does not represent a real building, we work from a sketch, diagram or description of the idea, which we then bring to life physically or digitally.
How long does it take?
A conceptual or smaller-scale model usually takes around 4 weeks. More complex models can take up to 8. The lead time also depends on the workshop's workload, so it is advisable to commission it well in advance.
Can you have it ready in time for a trade fair?
We use the event date as our starting point. Tell us when it is and we will confirm whether it is feasible before providing a quote.
What scale and size do I need?
It depends on what you want to convey and the space available on the stand or in the room. If you are unsure, tell us how much space you have and we will recommend a size.
Can it incorporate lighting, movement or screens?
Yes. Zoned lighting, mechanisms, buttons, sensors, touchscreens and bespoke applications are all developed by our in-house team.
Who handles transport and installation?
Delivery is handled by our team. We recommend booking installation so that we can deal with any issues arising during transport straight away. If you prefer to transport it yourself, we can make a bespoke crate.
Can the model be reused at several trade fairs?
Yes, provided it is designed for this purpose from the outset. It is important to mention this in the brief, as it affects the materials, component parts and packaging.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
Plans or images, if available, or a sketch/description if not; the desired size or scale, or the space available; and the delivery or installation address.
Can I see the production process?
Yes. The workshop is open to visitors so that each stage can be approved. If you cannot visit, we will send photographs and videos of the process.
