What size and scale are best suited to a residential model?
The scale is determined by the size of the development, the space available to display it and the level of detail required. Before preparing a quote, we assess the project and recommend the most suitable dimensions to ensure the model is easy to understand, attractive and functional as a sales tool. The most common scale for property development projects is 1:100.
What documentation do you need to create the model?
To begin, we need DWG plans showing floor plans, elevations, sections and the site layout. A 3D model, renders and a specification detailing the façades, joinery, paving, landscaping and other exterior finishes are also useful. If any documents are missing, we review the available information and let you know what else is required.
How long does it take to create a residential model?
The usual production time is approximately eight weeks, although this may vary depending on the size, level of detail and any lighting or interactive systems included. Small models may require less time, while large masterplans or particularly complex projects require more extensive planning.
Can you advise us even if our project has not yet been fully defined?
Yes. We can analyse the available documentation and help you decide which area to represent, what scale to use and what level of detail is most appropriate. This initial advice allows us to tailor the model to the exhibition space, budget and commercial objectives of the development.
Do you handle transport and installation?
Yes. We can manage the packaging, transport and installation of the model at the sales office, showroom or exhibition space. Our team will position it, connect the electrical systems and check that everything works correctly, leaving it ready for use.

Yes. We design bespoke tables tailored to the size of the model and the visual identity of the development. We can also incorporate a protective glass or acrylic display case, ambient lighting and other finishes to integrate the entire installation into the commercial space.
Can the model be modified if the project changes?
It depends on the extent of the changes and when they are communicated. During production, we establish review stages to approve the architecture, materials and finishes. If the project changes once the model has been completed, we assess the feasibility of updating the affected areas.
